The next Junior Beginners Course at GL3 Hub

will start 25th April 2018 from 7 to 8pm

  We have two sessions for Juniors
The first for those between 8 and 10 years of age, between 6 and 7pm.

The second between 7.00 - and 8.00pm for those between 10 and 14.

Those 15 and over will join the senior session.

Junior fencing takes place at Cotswold Fencing Club Between 6.00pm and 8.00pm.

Cotswold Fencing Club Juniors are aged 8 to 14 inclusive.

NB : The groups are split according the the length of weapon that they would use in a competition.

 There are regular beginners courses which are timed to start shortly after the school terms begin, and currently cost £35 for the 6 week course. See Beginners Courses page for further details. This will include testing for the British Fencing Level 1 Foil Achievement Award.

Cotswold Fencing Club is currently working towards Clubmark Accreditation (Now Swordmark).

Clubmark is the only national cross sports quality accreditation scheme for clubs with junior sections. It is built around a set of core criteria which ensure that accredited clubs operate to a set of consistent, accepted and adopted minimum operating standards.


  P.S. - Parents are welcome to stay and watch, and if they wish to try fencing themselves this can be arranged.

P.P.S. - Older Juniors at coaching discretion and with parental permission may stay for part of the senior session.
