Coaching - Course

Kevin Nelson has attended the Coaching Wheelchair Fencers Course run by The British Disabled Fencing Association.
This was an excellent course run by the British Disabled Fencing Association (BDFA).
The course covered the similarities and differences between wheelchair and able-bodied fencing. Also covering the practical aspects of safety, athlete capabilities, coaching, and competition fencing.
Cotswold Fencing Club will now be able to offer wheelchair fencing to disabled athletes |

Epee 2 Coaching Course

Kevin Nelson attended the British Academy of Fencing Autumn course, and after taking the exams on the Friday and Saturday, passed his Epee 1 & 2 Coaching Awards..
This was another excellently run and staffed course put on by the Academy.

Awards at Christmas

The Juniors have been working hard for their awards, and we have had 7 passes at British Fencing level 2 and 3 passes at level 1.
Congratulations to Nat Gower as she is the first member of Cotswold Fencing Club to gain the British Academy of Fencing Gold Award (foil).
Well done all for all the hard work that you have put in.
